Heart attack, also known as myocardial infarction, is a very severe medical condition. Worldwide, about 16 million myocardial infarctions occurs each year. Heart attack means heart muscles are injured because of insufficient oxygen supply. It is caused by coronary artery blockage.
By answering 12 risk factor questions, you can calculate your relative risk of developing heart attack, comparing with a person who has no exposure to the risk factors. You can also see how your risk is reduced if you are able to eliminate some risk factors.
